It is reported that someone suggested Cecilia Cheung, Tse's former wife, adjust her alimony amount as Tse has nearly HK$1 billion ($129 million) worth of property. However, it is said that Cheung declined because of the educational fund for their two sons.
Tse is good at operating business as well as investment. He loves the stores located in Central area in Hong Kong so much he began to purchase them in that area in 2005. He now owns a couple stores valued more than HK$400 million ($51.5 million). In addition to the houses in Ocean Bay and other business, Tse owns property with an estimated total value of more than HK$ 1 billion ($129 million).
At the moment, Tse says he has no interest in selling any of his properties. He has already planned to give the stores to his eldest son, Lucas Tse.
When Tse's two sons grow up, there will be a huge amount of educational fee for Lucas Tse and Quintus Tse to study abroad. After they graduate from college, the fund will be their startup capital for their own business.
A source said, "Nicholas Tse has a great expectation of Lucas and Quintus, hoping them to have their own career. But he also understands that everyone has different capability and interest, so he would like his company goes to market and lays foundation. When Lucas and Quintus grow up, the two brothers can help him to manage the company."
