Yung's agent company published to the public the letter of commitment singed by Yung's father to explain why Yung never paid her father's debt.
In the letter, Yung's father admitted that he owed a large amount of debts and that he asked his daughter for money several times over the years. Because Yung's father owed debts in 2011 again, he declared in the letter that that time was the last time he would ask Yung for money to pay his debts. Yung's father also admitted he did not take responsibilities as a father.
Yung's agent Mani Fok mentioned in an interview with Hong Kong media that Yung and her father did not contact each other for a long time and as forced to announce the break-up from her father. Fok emphasized that Yung did take the responsibilities as a daughter. To publish the letter of commitment is in order to ensure a correct understanding of the facts.
Fok restated that Yung would not respond to this issue any more.
