Last summer, news spread that actor Matt Damon no longer wants to reprise his role as Jason Bourne but it seems the actor has changed his mind.
E! News caught up with Damon and his best friend Ben Affleck during the celebration of the fourth season of their resurrected passion project, Project Greenlight.

While they were being interviewed by E! about their passion project, Affleck revealed that Matt will once again be playing Jason Bourne. "Well, he's going to be doing a Bourne movie next fall, which is about the same time I'll lose any semblance of physical fitness."
When the network asked Damon for confirmation, he happily replied by saying "Yes, next year, but the movie will come out in 2016. Paul Greengrass the director, is doing another one and that's all I've ever said. I just needed him to say yes."
This will be the third time Damon and Greengrass will be working together for another Bourne Identity film -- the fifth movie in the series. The big-screen hit earned millions at the box office and was originally inspired by the novel series written by Robert Ludlum.
Late last year, Greengrass released a statement saying that he no longer wanted to direct another Bourne film because he could not come up with any new ideas and since the studio wanted to release a Bourne film every year, he could no longer keep up.
But much to the delight of Bourne fans, people change their minds and both Damon and Greengrass are now back on board.
