Drew Barrymore's acting career may soon be coming to an end. During an interview with "Today" show's Savannah Guthrie, the 39-year-old actress revealed that she now wants to do fewer movies since she wants to focus more on being a mom to her kids.

The actress has had an infamous bout of rocky childhood during the '80s, and this childhood is reportedly the "Charlie's Angels" actress' motivation for being determined at giving her children a more stable life at home.
The "50 First Dates" star told Guthrie that she wants to be more present in her children's lives.
"I think I will act less and less...I find the hours at this point in my life too difficult with kids, it's hard to be present when you wake up before them and come home after they've gone to bed," Barrymore said.
"That's just not the way I want to have this journey with my kids at this point in their life. But maybe when they're older, I will feel differently," added the "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" actress.
Since Barrymore's childhood included a stint in rehab even when she was fourteen, Drew is adamant at providing her two daughters, Olive and Frankie, a traditional home setup because of her childhood, reports Fox News.
"I had a very untraditional upbringing, so I looked at it from afar and just thought, 'Well that's the exact opposite of how I'd want to raise my kids.' But it doesn't make me bummed out that I didn't have parents," the actress said.
"It's like, thank God that I didn't, because maybe I wouldn't be this aggressively excited about tradition and values and Christmas cards and Halloween costumes...And being so present," she concluded.
Barrymore and her husband Will Kopelman reportedly have no plans of expanding their family. However, they are not closed to the idea of having a third child, according to Press Trust of India.
