Actress Anne Hathaway recently spoke to the press about reprising her iconic Catwoman role in future DC Comic films.

Speaking to IGN during her recent promotional tour for her new film "Interstellar", she was asked if she wanted to return as Cat Woman and if she wanted her own stand alone Cat Woman film.

"I'm totally up for it, " she answered, "If Chris is involved because he is the reason why it was particularly fun portraying her, it was fun because she was in his part of the Gotham universe. I don't think it would be the same thing if he was not the director. I also think that since Cat Woman is a thief, it's better to have her as part of a larger film other than having a movie that only focuses on her because I don't think that would work well."

Unfortunately DC does not want another Christopher Nolan Dark Knight trilogy, but still Anne is open to a Cat Woman cameo in the upcoming DC Comic films.

"Oh yeah, that would be fun, I would definitely love that. I don't know-- I want to play her again, but right now it's just a speculation, but to be honest, I do think about it sometimes. I think she has an amazing backstory and it would be great to see her again on film, but again with her having a stand alone film--she's mysterious and that serves her well, I don't know what a whole film on her would do, but who knows."
