While brothers Christopher and Jonathan Nolan celebrate the premiere of their new film "Interstellar", their brother Matthew is being accused of being a hitman in the contract killing of an American financier who was beaten and killed in 2005.
Matthew, the eldest of the three brothers faces allegations of being the hired killer behind the financiers death. He was arrested during the case proceedings, but then plotted to escape the prison by using tied-together bedsheets.

The unbelievable story centers on the accusations made by authorities of Costa Rica who filed an extradition request to the US Court, their documents state that Nolan was contracted to kidnap and torture American accountant Robert Cohen, 63, while on a trip to the Central American country.
Cohen was found dead near the Caribbean coast in 2005. A Costa Rican pathologist was reported to have found evidence that Cohen was subjected to pain before being bludgeoned to death. Matthew was refused extradition by the US justice system, he has since been released and remains a free man. This decision has made a lot of people upset.
Costa Rican authorities, however, recently stated that they still consider the case as "open" and "active" and that they want to put the eldest Nolan on trial. The victim's daughter, Alisha, also revealed that she would like to face her father's alleged killer in court.
The Nolan brothers were all born in London to their British father, Brendan and American mother, Christina. They spent most of their lives living between the U.K. And the U.S.
Jonathan and Christopher were both educated at the Haileybury school in Hertfordshire while Matthew decided to make a name for himself by being a property developer in Chicago, where he met and married an American woman named Erika.
