Petite singer Ariana Grande certainly has big dreams.

The hitmaker not only wants to conquer the music world, she wants to make it big in the big screen as well. Grande is said to be extremely interested in starring in a romantic comedy flick.

The 21-year old star, who exploded internationally starring in Nickelodeon's "Victorious" and "Sam & Cat", wants to try eventually be able to have both a successful film and singing career.

According to a source, "Ariana is really funny, she would love to do a comedy or at least start out with a small part in a comedy. She's a hopeless romantic, too, so a romantic comedy would be perfect."

Her dream in starring in a flick may actually come sooner than later, as the insider shared that the singer has already been sent several scripts by different producers who desperately want the performer to star in their movies.

Grande is the biggest thing in music right now, and according to the source, big names in the movie industry want her. However, the star is already currently too busy to shoot a movie at the moment, so she is said to be going back and forth about taking on the commitment to undertake a film project.

"She's got so much going on that it would be hard for her to shoot a movie right now but at the same time, she wants to take advantage of things while she's so hot," the source shared.

Either way, Grande is certainly living her dream, as she revealed that being a singer has always been her life's goal.

The performer shared that even when she was 14, she already felt like she was ready to make an album, sharing, "I was like, 'Where is that Mary J. Blige collab? Where is that Natasha Bedingfield writing session? Where is my session with India Arie? I'm ready. Let's go."
