With only four fights in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight division, Conor McGregor is on a meteoric rise to achieve the top title spot. While he isn't the next in line, there are already talks about using a stadium for a projected fight with the current featherweight champ.

Garry Cook is the Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Europe, Middle East, and Africa for the UFC. He has recently stated that there have been talks for McGregor's title shot to be held at Croke Park or Aviva Stadium next summer.

The UFC officials are keen on returning to Dublin after their successful event at the O2 arena. UFC President Dana White said that the event was one of the most thrilling things he has ever witnessed in sports history.

All of these comments were inspired by "The Notorious," McGregor.

Brash but confident, McGregor has looked to revolutionize the sport with regards to cutting promos and his distinctive fighter style in the octagon.

He has beaten only four opponents in the UFC and is already in line for a shot at current champion, Jose Aldo.

"Conor is an athlete who is capturing the imagination of the Irish public and the prospect of hiring a huge outdoor stadium to stage a fight that will put him and the sport on the map is exciting all of us," Cook said.

However, McGregor is not yet the number one contender. He will be facing Denis Siver in Boston next January, while former champion Frankie Edgar and Cub Swanson face off to determine the next title challenger.

Still, the UFC's actions speak volumes, as they already foresee McGregor's eventual act of issuing a challenge for the title.

However, this big plan will only come into fruition if McGregor beats Siver first.

Cook said that UFC is being watched by billions of people, but the one name on their minds is McGregor's.

"That is a huge audience to tap into and Ireland has a champion who is talented enough to rise to the challenge."
