Though blurred, TMZ identified one of the images in the footage as the singer throwing an object behind the counter. He is joined by a group of friends in the altercation, reports Vibe.

The Fuddruckers manager reportedly told TMZ that Jeremih, the guy who sang 2009 Song of Summer contender "Birthday Sex," and his entourage, hit on a female employee before the incident transpired.

Jeremih and his crew ordered cheese sticks and chicken fingers when they hit on the waitress, who told her manager she was uncomfortable. The manager took action by telling the singer and his friends to step away from the employee, after which the ruckus ensued.

They became upset, and hence grabbed a restaurant microphone saying they were victims of racism. Then they threw beer bottles in the restaurant resulting to damages worth over US$700, said police.

After all that occurred, Jeremih claimed the manager was being a racist.

The brief clip from TMZ makes it hard to make out what transpired. However, it appeared as if someone from the group was cursing as they were throwing beer bottles. It seemed though that Jeremih was not involved in the destruction, said Vulture.

As of the moment, law enforcement officials have not made any arrests at press time, according to MTV.

Meanwhile, Jeremiah just addressed the incident via Twitter, here and here.

In one Tweet, he said he "never experienced such blatant racism" as he did in Montana.
