Carmen Electra Makes a Come Back with ‘I’m Learning So Much’

Carmen Electra, one of the most popular sex goddesses of the mid to late 2000s, is making a come back with her latest single, "Around the World."
Electra's last single, "I Like it Loud," was released in late 2012, a collaboration with producer Bill Hamel.
The model-singer-actress hopes that her latest single will remain in the musical run in the EDM world.

Electra originally started out as a singer in the early 90's.
"Throughout my career, I've been involved with music a little bit while working on films and other projects," the 42-year-old tells Billboard in an interview.
"Every time I get a chance to be involved with music, it makes me feel more complete. It inspires me in so many ways, and I miss it so much while I'm away from it," she continued.
Electra, whose singing potentials was discovered by Prince, said that she had her hesitations in making a studio come back. However, the lively tunes of "I Like It Loud" gave her the reason to sing again and "made me want to dance."
After her the release of "I Like It Loud" Electra made a global tour that brought her to Dubai, Germany, Canada and other countries where she performed.
"This has been really exciting and I'm learning so much," she said.
Electra, who has already graced the ramp as a model, appeared on screen as an actress and has recorded songs, still has one dream to fulfill: becoming a professional disc jockey.
The actress fell in love with that professional after portraying one in the upcoming film Chocolate City.
"I was fascinated with scratching, especially with the girls who could do it," she said.
She also related that she has friends "who's married to [Beastie Boys turntablist] Mix Master Mike, and I really want to go backwards and learn how to scratch and know how to do that."
But despite her busy schedule as a recording artist, she said she still finds time to work on her film commitments.
"I'm staying really busy," she said, "but everything I'm doing is fun."
