Let's recap Andy Dick and his previous run in with the law: possession of drugs, driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, hit-and-run, indecent exposure, and sexual battery. He has now added another to this list and that's theft. Not much information was given by the Los Angeles Police Department, only that the arrest was made around 11:00 pm on the 1800 block of Whitley Ave in Hollywood.

According to TMZ, The guy with the $1,000 chain recognized Dick when he rode up to him on his bike on Hollywood Blvd. last week. So when Dick asked to see the necklace, the man did not hesitate and said "Sure.". Imagine the man's surprise when Dick pedaled away with his jewelry. 

The owner called the police and reported it immediately, but Andy vanished into thin air and was nowhere to be found. 

It wasn't until Friday night, that the cops caught up with the comedian when they saw him near his Hollywood apartment. They arrested him for Grand Larceny and he's currently waiting in jail for someone to post $25,000 bail. 

It has been four years since Andy has kept off the police radar. The last time he was in trouble with the law was when he was arrested on charges of sexual abuse after reportedly groping a bartender and a patron at a bar in Huntington, West Virginia. Though he pleaded not guilty, Dick was given a six-month pre-trial diversion with an agreement stating that if he stays out of legal trouble for six months, the criminal charges will be dismissed. 

Andy is best known as a comedian but is also known for his eccentric and controversial behavior. Andy was escorted out during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! back February 2, 2007. The talk show host had to call in his security guards after Andy repeatedly touched guest Ivanka Trump.
