Keving Cheng Assures Public that He Doesn't Have Health Problems

Following the news that his old injuries has been affecting his filming career and claims that he has been plagued with health problems, Hong Kong actor Kevin Cheng has stepped forward to assure the public that he has a poor health condition.

Recently, reports that Cheng's old injuries had been affecting him and that his health had been declining while he was filming the upcoming TVB drama 'Eye in the Sky' and the movie 'My Poor Rich Father', which is directed by Alfred Cheung, surfaced. It paved way to speculations that the actor is suffering from a declining health state which caused concern among his supporters.

Furthermore, it has been rumored that the actor is suffering from mild hypertension and congenital diabetes. According to the claims, the actor is supposed to have been cast in two dramas in Mainland China last February and July. However, his old injuries were said to have been causing adverse effects on his health, forcing him to withdraw from the projects.

In addition, the rumors also claimed that the actor had been resting in Hong Kong in order to give himself time to recover from his alleged 'accumulated injuries'.

However, the 45-year old actor has spoken with the media and dismissed the rumors, saying that the reports about his health had been rather extreme. The actor stated that he does not have any health problems.

Cheng also encouraged the public not to believe such publications from tabloids without confirmation.

"I'm fine," says Cheng, also explaining that he had been filming one drama at a time in Hong Kong every year not because he had health problems but because he considers quality over quantity when it comes to his work.

The actor also revealed that he has been filming overseas which is the reason that he has been out of the Hong Kong entertainment scene recently.
