Following the news of his announcement about getting a divorce with mainland actress Shi Yang Zi, Hong Kong actor Lawrence Ng has also rejected the offer to be featured in the reality program 'Dad, Where are We Going?' with his daughter, Xi Er.
Last Sunday, November 9, Ng finally spoke to reporters and he mentioned that he declined the invitation to be featured in the show 'Dad, Where are We Going?', a variety program that features the lives of celebrity father who are left to take care of their kids. Said program has been adapted for a Chinese version from the famous South Korean show that has the same concept and goes with the same title.

With all the scrutiny he has been getting from the media recently due to his decision to separate from his wife, Shi, it is speculated that he rejected the offer in order to get away from the media.
Additionally, Ng has spoken to reporters about his issues with Shi, saying that they have not officially divorced as opposed to the reports that had been circulating lately.
The 50-year old actor has also cleared several matters about his divorce with Shi. He responded to the rumor which claimed that he is romantically involved with Hong Kong actress Jacqueline Wong and that she is the third party the media has been talking about.
Ng denied the allegations, saying that his marriage with Shi has already started crumbling four years ago and that Wong has not even joined the entertainment industry yet as she was living in Canada at that time. Due to the rumors, the actor apologized to the people who were getting involved in his issues with Shi.
Ng has also supported his wife's claim that they have decided to file for a divorce because they have been living separately for years. Once again, he remained firm on his stand that the divorce was the best solution for him and Shi.
Furthermore, the actor emphasized that his relationship with the Chinese actress has never been hostile in any manner and even revealed that he will be taking his mother-in-law to Japan for a holiday along with Xi Er.
