Google has pushed an Android Wear update a few days before the Apple Watch launch.
The second Android watch from LG, the G Watch R, is now on sale. Reports say it's good-looking and sharp when it comes to its appearance but its performance isn't all that great.
The watch has this black body and has a second-hand dial critics say outdid the Moto 360. The Moto 360 looked quite futuristic but the G Watch R is a flatter version of the former.

Moto 360's band is made of soft leather from a Chicago tannery while the leather band of G Watch R is uncomfortable; making the user feel there's a brick on his wrist.
The LG watch has 4 GB storage and 512 MB of RAM, similar to the Moto 360. Both offer a compass, an accelerometer and a gyroscope. The LG watch has a barometer, as well.
Both watches are water-resistant and have CPUs: Moto 360's from Texas Instruments while LG's from Qualcomm.
LG's G Watch R has a Gorilla Glass display, which makes it less prone to scratches or easy breakage. The LG G Watch R is a touch-based device so you just tap the screen to wake-up the watch.
The watch can also be activated by saying "Okay, Google." Reports say one should talk a little bit louder to activate it.
Notifications you get when your phone is connected to LG's G Watch R makes the watch vibrate to get your attention.
As for battery life, the watch can last as long as 12 hours when used to the max. The battery will provide power the whole day with minimal use.
