It has been 10 weeks since the National Football League has started the 2014-2015 season, and Odell Beckham Jr. is proving to be the real deal for the New York Giants.

The Giants have won more Super Bowls in the last 30 years. However, they are currently going through a rough patch as they are on the verge of missing the playoffs for the fifth time in six seasons and are on a four-game losing skid.

That's where Beckham comes in.

At the end of weeks 9 and 10, Beckham is the leading receiver in the NFL, with 264 yards over 15 catches.

The rookie wide receiver has put together his second consecutive 100-yard game last Sunday during a game against the Seattle Seahawks. This is an incredible feat considering that he was covered by Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman majority of the game.

The product from LSU caught four of the six passes against Sherman, and even earned high praise from a superstar who does not usually compliment his opponents.

Despite the Giants losing that game (38-17), Sherman met up with Beckham after and told him he was the real deal. He also said Beckham was going to be a great player.

According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), this game marked the first time that Sherman was beat four times in a game by one receiver since Titus Young beat him five times in the 8th week of the 2012 season.

While Beckham - the No. 12 overall pick in the draft - missed the first four games of the season due to a bulky hamstring, he proved to be instrumental in the Giants' offense when he started playing in week 5.

Despite only playing 308 of a possible 640 snaps this season, PFF has rated Beckham as the second-best offensive player on the roster and the 14th best wide receiver in the NFL.
