Taiwanese actress Ruby Lin challenged Mainland Chinese Yu Zheng to come clean about his previous comment about hating a certain Taiwanese actress, also responding to the speculations that she was the actress that the producer was talking about.

Lin, who is currently basking in popularity after the airing of the drama 'The Way We Were', attended a press conference of a skin care brand recently. While she was being interviewed at the event, the 38-year old actress took her chance to comment about the rumours about her that have been circulating lately.

It has been previously reported that the Mainland Chinese producer and screenwriter allegedly stated that he detests a certain Taiwanese actress whose popularity waned but has become popular again due to his efforts. The media has then speculated that the actress Yu was talking about was Lin, who worked with him in the drama 'Schemes of Beauty'.

Lin addressed the claims that she might be the actress that Yu detests, saying that she would not comment about the matter for the meantime. Furthermore, she said, "If he is a real man, he should speak up and be clear about what he means." Lin then added that if Yu meant those words for her, she would not take what he says seriously.

Another rumour that the actress addressed was her involvement with her 'The Way We Were' co-star Weber Yang, who is rumoured to be her boyfriend. The claims had been present ever since they started filming the drama, but has resurfaced again after the two artists were photographed on an alleged date.

Yang was the first one to deny the news, explaining that he was merely a close colleague to the actress and that the actress deserves someone better than him. This claim was backed by the actress who stated that she and Yang are only good friends.

The actress then praised the actor for being good-looking and having a good character, adding that she merely finds it easy to talk to him.
