Jennifer Lawrence nearly mobbed by fans after 'Late Show'

Jennifer Lawrence, who appeared on the Late Show Wednesday was booed and nearly mobbed in two less-than-spectacular fan moments outside David Letterman's studio, LA Times reveals.

The Academy Award-winning star, whose recent gig, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, only heightened her already mega-stellar career, was reportedly arriving late for the interview with the CBS host, and fans --who had been waiting to greet the Oscar winner -- were quite offended when she moved fast our of her SUV, gave them a quick wave and moved straight into the studio.

The unhappy crowd booed her as the moved quickly.

During the show, the 24-year-old discussed with Letterman the colonoscopy procedure she underwent, on the possibility that she's a hypochondriac and her embarrassing singing skills.

Lawrence said that she fears singing, especially for a crowd.

The actress going on a round-the-world tour ahead days before the Nov. 21 opening of the third installment of the The Hunger Games franchise.

After her interview, she had to hurry out from the set to get enough set because she also had a an early Thursday guesting on Good Morning America.

To make amends for her short time for her fans before the Late Show,  Lawrence stopped to sign autographs before a throng of crowds.

However, she did not stay for long and after chitchatting with a few fans, she moved away to sign a few more stuffs only to be met but keyed up fans who toppled the barricade, putting her security team to her rescue to take the car to her vehicle.

That's just the proof that Lawrence is no doubt one of the hottest actresses today, but she said she still has a problem with her heightened fame.

"I always had a very clear idea of the type of course I wanted - acting, that's all. Of course, by contract, I must assure a media presence to promote my work," she added.  "But if I had a choice, you you wouldn't hear me express myself except in movies," she said.
