It seems that Microsoft is designing a flagship device for the Microsoft Lumia line other than its entry-level handsets.
According to reports, a leaked screenshot from a Nokia supplier factory revealed all the specs of the Microsoft Lumia 940. The credibility of the leak is still unconfirmed but based on the specs, the handset will likely be a high-end product.

Microsoft appears to have kept the 1080p display over a 5-inch display. The listing also includes a Gorilla Glass 4 screen, which can be strange given that Corning hasn't announced a new version of glass to date.
Under the hood, the Lumia 940 is said to have a 2.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 CPU with Adreno 420 graphics, 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB storage options and Adreno 420 GPU. The handset reportedly has a 24 MP PureView camera which is good for 4K video capture @ 60 fps. It also features a 5 MP front camera which can shoot up to 1080p resolution.
The rumored Microsoft Lumia 940 will have a dimension of 137 x 71 x 8.9 mm and weight 149 grams.
The leaked specs also reveal the device will run the Windows Phone 10 mobile operating system, instead of Windows Phone 8.1. If this is true, it could mean the handset will not be released anytime soon.
Microsoft is also currently working on several other products such as the Windows Lumia 1330 phablet and the Lumia 535, which will be released Nov.12.
