Li, who made an appearance on the show, has joined the name tag-ripping, which is the feature of the show that made it popular. However, during the part of the show where Kim, called 'Commander' in the original version of the program, faced-off with Li, it resulted into an accident.
According to media reports, while Li and Kim were struggling to remove each other's name tags, the former accidentally fell and suffered a blow to the head. The 35-year old actor is said to have wounded his head in the process and had to be brought over to the hospital where he received a total of 22 stitches to close his wound up.
Following the news of his injury, his fans have expressed their concern especially after he had been absent on the latter part of the broadcast.
In order to assure the public, especially his supporters, that he was fine, the actor took to his Weibo account to post a message about it, saying, "The purpose of the show is to entertain and bring happiness through our collaboration so some portions had to be left out." In addition, he told his fans on his post that he is fine and has completely healed since it had been two months since the incident.
Along with his post, he uploaded photos of himself while the doctor stitched his head wound up and another one where he was posing with the Korean cast of 'Running Man'.
