An eighteen-year old freshman student of West Virginia University has died Friday, two days after being found unconscious at the Kappa Sigma House in Morgantown.
Nolan Burch had been hospitalized at the Ruby Memorial Hospital after police found him lying on the floor of his fraternity house around midnight on Wednesday. He reportedly had no pulse upon their arrival on the scene.

The responding officers performed CPR until emergency medical personnel came. Burch's death was confirmed by WVU spokeswoman Amy Johns.
According to Morgantown Police Chief Ed Preston, they had received a call about an alcohol-related case. They are still investigating whether Burch sustained his injuries from hazing or from an alcohol-related incident.
The university had ordered a suspension of all fraternity and sorority activities as of Thursday. Earlier this month, three students were arrested and16 others were reported for causing public disturbance.
According to Leo Brown, director of chapter services at Kappa Sigma, the Morgantown chapter has been suspended since October due to violation of the fraternity's code of conduct.
In addition, the fraternity is also conducting an investigation on the death of Burch.
Family and friends of Burch from Williamsville, New York were saddened and shocked by the circumstances.
"These things shouldn't happen, he's only 18. He's a nice young man and I'm shocked," his aunt Joyce Stamp said.
"You hear all the stuff about hazing, and this is his first time away from home," she added.
WVU President E. Gordon Gee issued a statement on the incident saying, "Words cannot describe the heartache we, as a West Virginia University family, feel at the loss of one of our own-Nolan Michael Burch-who passed away today."
