British Woman Claims Ne-Yo's Music Causes Her Seizures

While everyone seems to be mesmerized by Ne-Yo's singing voice, a British woman named Zoe Fennessy claims that hearing the American R&B singer's songs causes her to have violent seizures and vomiting as reported by UK's The Daily Mail.
According to said media outlet, Fennessy, who suffers from a rare condition called musicogenic epilepsy, suffers from vomiting and sudden seizures within seconds of hearing Ne-Yo's vocals. Fennessy allegedly claims that whenever she would hear the 'One in a Million' singer's songs, she would start freezing up, would eventually vomit and could not react to the world around her.

Eventually, the 26-year old British woman has decided to undergo surgery in order to have the part of her left temporal lobe which causes the reaction to be removed last June in hopes to fix the recurring problem. However, even after going through all that, she still suffers from the seizures upon hearing Ne-Yo's voice.
Fennessy relates that she was first diagnosed with epilepsy back in 2008, but it wasn't until 2011 when she had first music-induced seizure which has apparently started after she heard 'Give Me Everything' by Ne-Yo.
In order for her claims to be deemed possible, Fennessy was required to undergo a test wherein she would be monitored by doctors while she listens to Ne-Yo's songs. After the test, she was diagnosed with the rare condition which causes musicogenic seizures, a condition wherein a patient suffers from epilepsy or other symptoms when exposed to complex stimuli such as music.
Fennessy was forced to wear earphones or headphones wherever she goes just in case the singer's song suddenly plays. "If he ever releases a greatest hits album, it's going to be a nightmare," she said, explaining that whenever she hears a few beats of his song, she would have to run away until it's out earshot.
On the other hand, she has clarified that she doesn't necessarily dislike Ne-Yo or his songs, but she says that the songs, unfortunately, 'dislike' her.
Fennessy also says that although she has accepted the fact that her condition may be hilarious, it is also a difficult and painful reality in her life.
