The 34-year old actor admitted that he is a chauvinistic man in nature, in contrast to his girlfriend's reactive personality. He described Leanne as an indecisive person, but cited that differences are also important when it comes to relationships.

"A needle cannot have two pointed ends," says Cho Lam. "If you want a person to be gentle, the natural drawback is indecisiveness. If you want a person to lead you, then naturally, the person will not always accommodate you."

He also says that it is essential to weigh matters, adding that if he loves that certain side of Leanne, he has to accept all else that would come with it.

Furthermore, Cho Lam also admitted to being an ambitious man and being someone, who never settle for less. In the course of his career, he has written the script for the TVB comedies, 'Inbound Troubles' and 'Come On, Cousin,' which has been noted to have improved the careers of cast members Ivana Wong, May Chan and Louis Cheung.

He has also included Leane in the cast of, 'Come On, Cousin', adding that after they have started dating, the actress' comedic side seemed to have come out. He also stated that despite casting Leanne in an unflattering role, not once did he think that she would stoop to that level.
