Popular model and reality star Kendall Jenner was announced to be the new face of Estee Lauder, a New York-based cosmetics company. Previous brand ambassadors include actress Gwyneth Paltrow and model-actress Elizabeth Hurley.
Kendall, 19, shared the big news to her huge followers on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. The announcement made the star one of the most in-demand models in her generation.

"I am super excited to announce that I am the new face of @esteelauder!! I still can't believe it myself!," she captioned her photo.
In yet another photo where her face beamed with excitement, she wrote, "This is exactly how I feel right now @voguemagazine @esteelauder."
Recently, the 'Keeping up with the Kardashian' star appeared on various runways in New York, Paris and Milan. The young model is also featured in a 13-page fashion spread of Vogue magazine's December issue.
According to Vogue, Kendall knows that she will be appearing in various fashion campaigns for the brand, including print ads and TV commercials that will be seen around the world.
Estee Lauder's official website said signing up Jenner is part of their 360-degree marketing campaign. The company wanted to target young consumers through the large following of the young reality star.
Kendall has almost 30 million followers on her various social media accounts.
The cosmetica company has uploaded on their website a video of Kendall talking about how she tried putting her mom's make-up when she was little.
Kendall is the daughter of TV personality Kris Jenner and Olympian Bruce Jenner. She is also the sister of popular reality star Kim Kardashian.
"The first time I wore make-up, I was a little girl and my mom was filming me, and I'm like, "Mom, I did make-up, do you like it?," she shared on the clip.
A series of promotional photos was seen on the official video and social media accounts of the company and Kendall. The official campaign will be released in the fall 2015.
