One Direction performed their fourth album, Four, on Today at the Universal Orlando Resort. The band arrived Monday at the crack of dawn to sing several of their songs from the album. More than 15,000 crowd watched as the band cruised up onto the waterside stage with a motorboat. People greeted the band with deafening screams.

But when they took the stage, there were only four members present: Zayn Malik was missing and the Today host Matt Lauder directly addressed this during their show asking where the fifth band member is since he only sees four.
Liam Payne was quick to answer that Malik was not able to make it to their albums release day because his bandmate was not feeling well and had to stay home. But Payne promised that even if there were just four of them, it's still going to be a great day.
Lauer then asked if it was really just a minor illness that kept Malik from joining the band or there is more to it since there have been rumors about substance abuse. But Payne assured that it was really just a stomach bug and that Malik was okay and just needed some rest.
It was in 2012, on Today, that these guys made their television debut and they have been dominating the music scene since then. Harry Styles said that Four is the album that the band is most proud of.
Then the band made their performance and sang songs from their albums such as 'Steal My Girl', 'Best Song Ever', 'Little Things', 'Night Changes' and 'Story of My Life'. Despite Malik's absence during the show, the rest of the band didn't disappoint. To all One Direction fans out there, they will be heading back on the road by summer so watch for them.
