Former TVB star Fala Chen made a public appearance in Hong Kong. She attended the Christmas event for Mikki and Grumpy Cat. Rumors say that Fala permanently moved to United States to avoid her ex-husband Daniel Sit, the heir of Neway Entertainment Group.
Fala denied this and claims that she wants to further her studies in acting and she signed up for an acting course in New York. There is no one to avoid after all since Fala also claims that she and Daniel are still good friends and still remain in contact.

Fala ended her relationship of six years with Daniel last year. Fala is still known to be single but rumors have it that Daniel already found new love with beauty queen Bernice Liu after they were spotted having a dinner date. Bernice, 36, has been known for her high-profile relationships like her short lived romance with billionaire Alastair Lam.
Some people speculated that Bernice is a gold digger, but ex Alastair doesn't want to comment about it. Alastair only said that he knows how committed Bernice is towards her work and he just wants to wish her happiness.
Mentioning this to Fala she immediately said that she didn't read those reports and even if she and Daniel don't meet they are still friends and they still stay in touch. So she says.
When asked if she would still like to film dramas for television, Fala admitted that she had turned down TVB when they approached her on a new collaboration because of conflicting schedules. Fala is no longer interested in long contracts but she is open to short term basis working opportunities.
