Taiwanese-American actor Peter Ho surprised the public by announcing that he has plans to get married to his girlfriend, known as Peggy, next year.

In a recent interview with a media outlet, Ho, who is known for keeping his love life a secret from the prying eyes of the public and media, has surprisingly announced that he has plans to get married to his mysterious girlfriend, who is only known by the moniker Peggy.

According to media reports, the actor, who turned 39 years old last September, has been dating Peggy for seven years now. Ho has been considered as one of the eligible bachelors in the entertainment industry especially after being successful in the Mainland Chinese show business market and despite his popularity and long-standing relationship with his non-showbiz girlfriend, the issue about their relationship only came to light recently.

Additionally, Ho and his girlfriend are said to have received the blessings of their parents on their plans for their wedding. Ho also reportedly mentioned that after getting married, he and Peggy are hoping to start their own family soon. Ho revealed that he promised his father that he will present him with grandchildren within the next two years.

Peggy, on the other hand, is said to have no connections to the media industry whatsoever. However, due to Ho's celebrity status, she allegedly had to give up on her career in order to support the actor on his endeavors.

Despite being a career-driven personality, Ho still has his romantic side. During the interview, he has also disclosed that he has once prepared a special meal for the girl he likes. Unfortunately, his plan failed because the girl couldn't come to meet him due to a bad snow storm.

As for his Christmas holiday, the actor expressed his hope to be able to spend time at home and relax, saying that he wants to set up a Christmas tree and roast a turkey while he's on it.
