Jackie Chan was recently spotted at an event where he was promoting Skiptrace, his latest movie. When asked about his son Jaycee, the superstar admitted to not seeing him and that he does not know when the trial of his son will start.
Jackie also shared that he did not know of his sons drug use previously for if he'd known he would have beaten Jaycee to death. According to Jackie, even his wife Lin Feng Jiao had no idea about it. Jackie also assures the public that his son is not an addict; he was just playful and naive.
The 60 year old superstar is hopeful that his son's arrest will do him good. Jackie said that he is expecting his son to have learned a lesson from this experience and a whole new Jaycee will come out from the detention center. Jackie hopes that this experience will help Jaycee grow as a person.
It can be recalled that a few days following his sons arrest Jackie broke his silence and said that being Jaycee's father he is also responsible for his sons mistake, probably for not being able to teach him well. So when asked as to what he will say to his son after his release, Jackie is unsure yet but admitted that he was uneasy not seeing Jaycee around.
There had been rumors going around that Jaycee's part in his father's latest movies will not be included but Jackie denied it assuring his fans that those are just rumors.
