The "Dancing With the Stars" rumors have it that Disney's Ross Lynch could be joining the show.
Lynch is currently one of the rising stars of Disney as he is part of their regular show and featured in one of their movies last year. He is a member a band called R5, along with his cousins, who's been gaining popularity since 2009. Other than that, he is also the cousin of Julianne Hough who is a dancer-turned-judge of DWTS. So basically, Lynch already has all the connection.

Lynch already made an appearance on DWTS All Access together with his brother and bandmate Riker which set the rumor mill off. Speculations then started that Lynch could be offered to join the dancing competition. So has there been an offer?
Some sources say that an offer has already been made and it's up to Lynch to decide if he wants to take the challenge and take some time off from filming his show in Disney to compete.
A source shared with Hollywood Life that they've asked Lynch but the young star said no for the moment. The offer is still on the table and they will keep asking him so it's all up to Lynch.
Adding Lynch to the popular show would be a winning move for both and network and Lynch's career. His cousin Julianne is quite confident that Lynch will be amazing in the show and that he's going to be amazing. Actually, Julianne is pretty sure that any Lynch will do amazing.
So it's up to Lynch if he wants to appeal to a wider audience. If he does say yes and joins the dancing competition it will take a while before fans find out since the official cast of the next season will take months from being released.
