The coroners from the Ouachita Parish revealed that the five family members were pronounced dead on the scene. Col. Mike Edmonson from the Louisiana State Police then released a statement pressing that their heartfelt condolences go out to the relatives and the people affected in the said crash.
Michael and Trudi are reportedly teachers in a school in Texas. Trudi taught kindergarten while her husband taught second graders. Also, both have had previous marriages noting that Trudi has two sons while Michael had three. Their four-year-old daughter, who also died in the accident, was their child in their current marriage.
The driver is still being investigated to see if he was intoxicated or impaired. The family had been planning the trip nine months ago and intended to stay at the attraction for a week.
