In an interview with Larry King, actor-director Eli Roth stated that he worked on a short film with rock star Marilyn Manson and pop singer Lana Del Rey. Roth shared that the footage is so controversial, he had to lock it "in a vault for over a year".

The unreleased short film is titled "Sturmgruppe 2013 Reel".
"Sturmgruppe 2013 Reel" features a dark and odd dinner party, a violent highway shooting, and of course, Del Rey being raped by Roth.
Roth's use of the disturbing imagery is an obvious attempt to shock people, although some see it as romanticizing rape.
Manson, on the other hand, is seen sitting lifeless at the dinner table with the other guests. A screaming woman appears submerged in bloody water, while a terrifying Manson walks through the fog.
The original footage has since then been uploaded on YouTube, and subsequently been taken down due to its violent nature.
In the disturbing clip, Roth violently rapes Del Rey, with shots alternating between regular speed and slow motion. Roth is shown throwing the singer onto the bed and victimizing her. In the longer version, there are balloons in the background with the word "Rape" on them.
Although the "Hostel" director shared his fondness for Manson, even referring to him as one of his "favorite people," Manson denied any involvement with the unsettling clip.
Manson's rep Kathryn Frazier released a statement to the press, sharing that they believe that the footage was created by a fan, and that it was in no way Manson's work.
"Manson did not direct this, shoot it, nor was it for a Marilyn Manson video or outtake footage made by him or to be used by him with his music. It must be a fan video splicing up old Manson video footage with someone else's Lana Del Rey footage," Frazier stated.
