Previously, rumors that the musician has already gotten married circulated like wildfire among media outlets after what seemed to be a wedding band was spotted on his ring finger when he attended the premiere gala of the movie 'Rise of the Legend' in Beijing last Wednesday, November 19.
Finally, the 37-year old bassist for Mayday confirmed the rumors by sharing a photo of his and Xie's hands, showing matching tattoos on their ring fingers. On his post, he wrote, "I hope we walk hand-in-hand towards the next stage in life. No matter what, I know we will never let go of each other's hands."
The bassist dated Malaysian singer Fish Leong in the past, but since May of last year, he had started seeing Xie. Despite the surprise, the idea of his sudden marriage was welcomes by his and his band's fans.
Netizens who are big supporters of the band have offered their well wishes to Masa and Xie. However, the fans are not curious as to who will tie the knot next. The only remaining single members of the band are Ashin, who is the front man of the band and Monster, the leader, sub-vocalist and also the lead guitarist.
On the one hand, last Wednesday, all the members of Mayday attended the premiere of Eddie Peng's 'Rise of the Legend' in Beijing, and have reportedly written and performed one of the theme songs of the movie.
