The comedy show of Robert Carlock and Tina Fey is out to transfer from NBC to the streaming magnate, Netflix, even before its premiere telecast in March of 2015.
Netflix also already ordered a second season televise before the first season's debut. The program will feature The Bridesmaid and The Office star Ellie Kemper as Kimmy Schmidt.

"The very construct of 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt' - its offbeat premise, hilarious and rich characters, and serialized story-telling - make it a perfect Netflix comedy series," said Netflix VP Cindy Holland.
She added that Carlock and Fey's originality involving comic sensibility and style will certainly come afloat in the series, making it an object of excitement and anticipation among Netflix exclusive members around the globe.
The tandem is also responsible for bringing the seven-seasoner "30 Rock" to operations on NBC.
"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to debut 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt' exclusively on Netflix, which has proven to be such an outstanding place for distinctive, original programming," said Carlock and Fey in a statement.
They also confirmed that they are still happily collaborating with Universal Television to fulfill Netlix's 2-season directive, and with NBC for other broadcast developments.
The story of the series mainly revolves around Kimmy Scmidt, a cult member who breaks away from her life's current path and decides to try a new life of possibilities in New York City.
"We found the inspiration for this series in Ellie Kemper's shining all-America face, and we know that she and Kimmy Schmidt have found their best possible home at Netflix," the character's creators said.
This was further supported by NBC's Entertainment Chairman, Robert Greenblatt, when he revealed that it was originally developed for NBC but for their drama-heavy mid-season schedule, so they were thrilled about the Netflix opportunity.
"Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" also stars Sara Chase, Sol Miranda, and Lauren Adams.
