Jennifer Aniston, who is best known for her role as Rachel in the hit TV series F.R.I.E.N.D.S, talks about how she prepared and transformed herself into chronic pain-sufferer Claire Bennett.
The 45-year old actress was already attached to the character, the first time she sat down with movie director, Daniel Barnz.

During a Q&A panel that followed the screening of Cake, Jennifer told the audience that Barnz had allowed her to go where she wanted to go with the character, "I told him, I already have a plan and he just allowed me to go where I wanted to and he was there with me every step of the way." She also revealed that in order to prepare for the role she had to think about what happened to her character, "Well I had to understand the logistics first: what the accident was, what was the injury, where did her pain exist. I had to know how to get into her voice and into her body."
Aniston also told the audience about how the five week shoot made it difficult for her to let go of the character she was playing. "I was just in that place, I was her for the five weeks that we were shooting" she told the crowd.
It seems as though this is the dream role for the actress, but when asked if there was any other role that she has not played and wanted to tackle, she immediately had an answer, "I want to play a superhero".
While there are no superhero movies in the air for Jennifer, she has been busy promoting her new film, 'Horrible Bosses 2', out in theatres starting November 26, 2014.
