Defensive Tackle Vince Wilfork is closing off the bandwagon for the New England Patriots. He is no longer accepting any more fans to bandwagon on the Patriots' resurging success in the National Football League's (NFL) current season.
As is customary in most NFL season, a team's fan base is faced with cycles of success, failure, happiness, and sadness.

However, veteran Wilfork isn't having any of that this year.
The Patriots started off the current season with a very rocky start, with a 2-2 record. Their performance even prompted fans and critics alike to wonder whether or not the golden years of quarterback Tom Brady and Coach Bill Belichick are truly over.
The bad performances may have actually been the kind of inspiration the team needed, as talks around the team was much different.
Now, the Patriots have climbed to the top and once again appear to be one of the favorites to reach deep into the playoffs.
After their most recent game, Wilfork said that looking back 11 weeks, they are now one of the best teams in the league.
"So the same people that were saying we were the most terrible team in the league now are patting us on the back. We don't have room for them. We don't have room for bandwagoners, guys that just off the bandwagon when things get tough," he said via CSN New England.
As long as Belichick continues to rebuild his offenseive line and filter in several weapons for Brady, there is no reason to believe that the Patriots' downfall is coming any time soon.
However, fans should not be affected by Wilfork's comments. The reaction might be aimed at reporters and analysts who said some harsh things about the Patriots. Often times, the two groups get clumped up into just one.
After the Patriots' recent win against the Detroit Lions (34-9), NFL.com reports that they surpass the Denver Broncos as the most fun team to watch in the NFL right now.
