As expected, the "no indictment" decision of the grand jury on the death of black youth Michael Brown in the Ferguson shooting sparked outrage from Americans.
As St. Louis and Missouri officials brace for negative public reaction over the grand jury's decision not to indict white police officer Darren Wilson for the death in August of Brown, netizens immediately tweeted their disgust over the decision.

The tweets ranged from rage and anger to disbelief as the hashtag #Ferguson became trending on social media sites.
Deidre Walsh considered the jury decision a "slap in the face of Americans nationwide who continue to hope and believe that justice will prevail."
The general belief is that the race of the shooter and the victim has something to do with the decision, which took the grand jury 25 days as it heard more than 60 witnesses testify for over 70 hours. Thus, Jeena tweeted, "The color of your skin should not determine your worth. All human lives matter."
Mother Jones cited 14 deaths by St. Louis police officers and none charged as basis in believing the decision was biased in favor of the cops.
However, McCullough defended the jury's decision, saying that while it may "not be accepted by some," everything was decided on facts and evidence.
Witnesses told the jury that Brown and a friend were walking near his grandmother's house when Wilson confronted them while the officer was driving his SUV. Some said Wilson tried to pull Brown in, while others said the youth reached for his gun.
Wilson fired one shot out of the window and Brown ran away. The cop pursued him and the youth turned around. This was the vital moment when Brown was apparently surrendering, yet Wilson still fired at him.
According to Washington Post, seven or eight witnesses supported Wilson's account of the incident and most of them were like Brown, African-Americans.
BlackMediaScoop's disappointment was over the fact that Brown's killer will not face the consequences of his action. The jury did not recommend any specific charges versus Wilson, it only presented to the panel all the evidence.
For Up Next, what was irritating was that it took the jury a hundred days to figure out how to tell the public that murder is not a crime while it only takes a short amount of time to determine that it is.
Twitter posts said that a group of protesters are now marching in Center City, Philadelphia, while reports said there are incidents of looting in Ferguson now.
Brown's family, in a statement, appealed for calm and sobriety even as they expressed disappointment with the jury's decision.
"While we understand that many other share our pain, we ask that you channel your frustration in ways that will make a positive change," Brown's family said. "We need to work together to fix the system that allowed this to happen."
The Browns asked people to ensure all cops on street duty wear a body camera but enjoined peaceful protests only. They urged people to avoid using violence to counter a violent action.
Meanwhile, U.S. President Barack Obama issued a statement asking the public to respect the wishes of Michael Brown's family in the wake of the grand jury's "no indictment" announcement.
