Eric Moo Grieves for His Father's Passing

Malaysian-Chinese multi-hyphenate Eric Moo's father has reportedly passed away due to colon cancer last November 22, Saturday in Singapore. He was 81 years old.
According to media reports, during the award-winning singer and producer's concert, 'Eric Moo in Concert, which was held just earlier this month, Moo has revealed that his father had been diagnosed with colon cancer in April of this year. During his concert, he has expressed his hope for his father to hang on in order for him to attend his upcoming concert in 2015. However, the 51-year old's father has given in after his condition took a turn for the worse.

The Singapore-based singer has lamented over his father's passing, taking to his social networking service account to air out his grief over his loss while also encouraging himself to be stronger.
On his Weibo blog, the singer-producer wrote that he was not able to be with his father during his last moments, also expressing that he cannot bear the thought of his father's passing.
"Please go in peace and I will return to you soon," wrote Moo. He further encouraged himself by saying, "Did you know that our separation is only temporary; we will meet again in the heavens."
According to media reports, Moo, who is the Honorary Award winner in the 2014 edition of the Singapore Hit Awards, took a flight back home last Sunday, November 23, in order to attend his father's funeral service.
Media outlets had been trying to reach the singer, however, his manager claimed that he is currently suffering from fatigue. Furthermore, the singer-songwriter also refused to discuss matters about his family with the reporters who wanted to interview him.
On the other hand, Moo's manager also shared that the singer has gone through lengths to prepare himself for the worst back when his father was diagnosed with cancer, but is still very regretful over the unfortunate event.
