Hong Kong-based Canto-pop singer and actress Vivian Chow has stepped forward to address the rumors circulating about her relationship with her husband, writer Joe Nieh, for the first time, dismissing all claims that they are currently in a rocky phase in their marriage.

Hong Kong media outlets have previously reported that Chow and Nieh are possibly headed for divorce due to certain problems in their relationship. Some publications have even released stories which contain claims that the singer-actress and her husband are allegedly sleeping in separate rooms because of Nieh's incremental reclusive behavior. Due to this, many have speculated that the couple is headed for a separation.

However, at a recent event that the singer-actress attended, she has stepped forward to comment on the claims being made by tabloids in Hong Kong regarding their marriage.  The 47-year old singer and actress dubbed the reports as 'purely fictitious', implying that there is no truth in any of the claims being made the media about her relationship with her writer husband.

"The two of us, along with our seven cats, are doing very well," says Chow calmly to the press. She further stated that she enjoys their relationship which she is also very thankful of.

Furthermore, she emphasized that she and Nieh are moving past different phases in their marriage and so far, they have been making good progress. "We still have endless topics to talk about," says the recording artist who also shared that that they often have chats late into the night.

On a brighter note, when the media asked if Nieh has seen her in the 'sassy' red dress she was wearing for the night's event, Chow merely laughed, evidently in a good mood and said that there was no need to show herself to her husband.

"It's not that sexy," says Chow, adding that her husband trusts her fashion sense and it's not going to be an issue.
