Mattel received the bad news after an artist released their normal Barbies which featured acne and stretch marks to answer the critics about Barbie being an idealist. The company also faced criticism when they suggested in their published book in 2010, that girls must get help from men to build online games. However, the Mattel Company quickly apologized and pulled it out from Amazon.com. They also made a statement that the portrayal of Barbie in the book does not reflect on what Barbie stands for which to empower girls to live without limits.

The apology made by Lori Pantel, the vice president of Barbie's global marketing might be too late because  "Frozen" characters,  Elsa and Anna became the new face of feminism and female heroism.

Barbie is a fashion doll manufactured by the American toy company, Mattel, Inc. It was created by Ruth Handler and had its first appearance on March 9, 1959. In 1960s series of novels, Barbie was given a fictional biography. Barbara Millicent Roberts is Barbie's full name and her parents are George and Margaret Roberts. The Roberts lived in a fictional town called Willows, Wisconsin.

Meanwhile, "Frozen" is an animated movie produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. The animated film featured the characters of Elsa, Anna and Olaf. The story of "Frozen" was inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's story, "The Snow Queen".

If Elsa, Anna and Olaf knocked down Barbie on the top spot, Lego still named as the number 1 Holiday toy for boys.
