Matthew McConnaughey and Woody Allen may be filmdom's biggest duo to ever hit boob tube, but girl power wouldn't be left behind as Oscar winners Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon are also bound to make a big-time appearance on TV.
Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon have just sealed a deal that would see them pair together in a limited series, an adaptation of best-selling novel, "Big Little Lies," Entertainment Weekly reports.

David E. Kelley (The Crazy Ones) has also been reported to write and executive produce the TV series.
Kidman and Witherspoon both grabbed the rights of the book, penned by Australian author Liane Moriarty, in August under their respective production companies, Blossom Films and Pacific Standard.
Moriarty and the two actresses will also serve as the show's producer.
The award-winning actresses will portray the roles of the two of the three mothers of preschool children who were linked to the suburban murder mystery.
Witherspoon, who won the Oscar for the 2005 biopic Walk the Line, has recently scored financially success as the executive producer of the global box-office winner mystery thriller Gone Girl. She has also scored critical acclaim with her role in the biographical drama Wild, which is based on the story of Cheryl Strayed who decided to hike for more than a thousand miles after surviving a divorce and personal tragedies.
Kindman, who grabbed the Oscar for her critically-acclaimed role in The Hours, has recently starred in the biography film of actress-turned-princess Grace Kelly in Grace of Monaco.
