According to media outlets, when the 'Bang Bang' singer was asked if she would be willing to cut her hair into a bob, the 21-year old singer-actress is said to have revealed that she would never cut her hair short ever.
"Never!" said Grande to a media publication. "Not in your life. I'm so scared of that." She later stated that the thought of cutting her hair literally makes her 'shiver'.
Grande, who used to sport a red-dyed straight do, also shared that she does not miss dyeing her hair in reference to her hairstyle in the Nickelodeon show 'Victorious' where she played the role of Cat, and its spin-off 'Sam and Cat' which also featured Jeanette McCurdy. The singe explained that the dye has left her hair in a damaged condition.
The young singer explained that it took her a long time to grow back her healthy hair since she had to dye it red all the time while filming for 'Victorious', the show that made her famous along with co-star Victoria Justice. She explained that her hair got really 'broken and damaged' during that time.
"Only just now is my hair 100 per cent healthy and I don't have to wear as many extensions anymore," says Grande, who is loving her current brunette locks.
When she was asked why she chose the half-up do as a part of her trademark look, Grande shared that the reason behind her hairstyle was to keep her hair out of her face. Furthermore, she answered the people who were asking why she couldn't get rid of her usual hairstyle, saying that it is convenient for her and that there is more to her than just her hair.
