(Photo : REUTERS/Kevin Lamarque) U.S. President Barack Obama has announced that he will be asking US$263 million from the Congress to train police officials and to equip them with body cameras.
Businesses hiring illegal immigrants over native-born workers will get incentives as part of U.S. President Barack Obama's proposed solution to country's the growing illegal immigration issue.
The incentive reportedly amounts to US$3,000 for every illegal immigrant employee hired. Also, because of the issues that ObamaCare is currently facing, businesses not providing illegal immigrants their health care benefits will not be penalized.

Illegal immigrants are denied access to public benefits including health care insurance such as ObamaCare. However, congressional aides argue that there is a loophole about it in the policy as illegal immigrants are being prioritized over the Americans when it comes to jobs.
Texas Republican Lamar Smith released a statement saying that if the reports are true about the president's plan to give US$3,000 incentive to those hiring illegal immigrants, then Obama has then added insult to injury.
"The president's actions would have just moved those who came here illegally to the front of the line, ahead of unemployed and underemployed Americans," Smith points out.
On Tuesday, Obama was in Chicago to talk about the contributions of the United States to the immigrants pointed out the need to make changes in the current immigration policy.
The president also talked about studies showing that immigrants have opened one fourth of all the businesses in the U.S. and that 40 percent of the Fortune 500 companies have been founded and built by the said group.
"Being a nation of immigrants gives us this huge entrepreneurial advantage over other nations," said Obama.
Should the Obama administration's action on illegal immigrants push through, over 5 million of them can avoid deportation.
The parents of the illegal immigrants should have lived in the United States for at least five years in order to be covered by the executive actions. Also, Obama is planning to expand the program to aid the immigrants who entered the state illegally as children.
