A restaurant in Ningbo, a city in Zhejiang province in northeastern China, has replaced its human waiters with robots.
These robots take orders from customers and serve them food. The robots use optical sensing system technology to navigate their way around the restaurant. They cost about US$10,000 each and come with a five-year warranty.

Lu Dike, the owner of the restaurant, says the robots are huge attractions and he's being asked sell them.
"I get asked at least once a day if I'm prepared to sell one of them. Who knows? Maybe it might be a good sideline." said Dike.
The machines move along magnetic strips on the floor. They greet customers when they walk in, and say simple phrases in Mandarin such as "Enjoy your food!"
The restaurant's owner said the new robotic technology has helped him save money.
Recently, the Royal Caribbean cruise line unveiled the first robotic bartender in the world on board its new cruise ship, the Quantum of the Seas.
