"The Real World" Star Ryan Knight Dead at 29

"The Real World: New Orleans" star Ryan Knight has died at the age of 29. Gossip site TMZ was the first to report the news of Knight's passing.

The MTV reality star was said to have been out partying on Wednesday night with friends. A witness claims that Knight had ingested some pills during their night out, but it has yet to be determined what those pills were.

A close friend shared with TMZ that friends found Knight dead on Thursday morning, appearing as if he had "choked on his own vomit".

Knight's death follows the passing of fellow MTV reality star Diem Brown this month who succumbed to cancer at the age of 34.

Although the two did not appear together on "The Real World," both starred on "The Challenge: Rivals II" wherein they developed a close friendship.

After Brown passed away, Knight changed his Twitter profile photo to a picture of himself on the beach with his late friend.

Knight's last tweet was on Wednesday - a simple, yet meaningful, post that read "You used to mean a lot." Many believed that the post was meant for his former girlfriend, Jemmye Carroll.

Following his death, Carroll took to Twitter to say thank you to her followers who sent her kind and comforting words.

"Words will never be enough to justify the connection we shared and the pain I will forever feel. RIP," she posted along with a collage of photos of herself with her on-again, off-again love.

His friend and "The Challenge" Zach Nichols also tweeted a heartfelt goodbye to him.

"You lived your life in the fast lane, and your smile was contagious. My bunkmate, my buddy.  Rest easy pal, I'll miss you. @Knight_MTV," Nichols tweeted.

Knight played the role of a quasi-villain on the reality show, and even poked fun at himself for being portrayed as one.

"Sooooo I'm the a**hole," Knight wrote on his Twitter bio.
