Oscar-winner Natalie Portman is said to join Michael Fassbender in a new Steve Jobs movie, according to the grapevine. The versatile actress was reported to be playing a key role in the upcoming film.
Portman, 33, has been very busy lately due to numerous projects she is currently working at. The charming actress is set to direct her first movie ever entitled "A Tale Of Love And Darkness." The movie, which will also feature Portman as the lead, is based from the book of Amos Oz, a prominent Israeli author.

Apart from this, Natalie will also grace the big screen in the upcoming film "Jane Got A Gun" by Gavin O'Connor and will co-produce the movie "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies."
Michael Fassbender will portray the technology creative thinker and futurist in the movie which was acquired by Universal pictures following the decision of Sony Pictures to let it go. Portman's role is still currently not identified but there have already been negotiations of having other big names join the film such as Seth Rogen and Jessica Chastain.
Rumors claim that that Rogen will play the role of Steve Wozniak while Chastain is set to play the female lead part. To date, nothing has yet been confirmed.
Before the Jobs role was offered to Fassbender, previous concessions have surfaced the names of Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale as worthy candidates to fill in the role. The former was said to have a tight schedule, hence the decline to take on the lead role. Bale, on the other hand, confirmed that to turn down the offer was a product of "much deliberation and conflicting feelings."
Danny Boyle, famed director of the 2009 Oscar Best Picture "Slumdog Millionnaie", will take the lead in directing the movie, while Aaron Sorkin will be responsible for the film's screen play.
