Star Wars fans were totally in full Force to catch the first glimpse the J.J. Abrams-helmed and much awaited Episode VII of film industry's biggest movie franchise.
Stars Wars: The Force Awakens started with a creepy voice over that said: "There has been an awakening in the Force, have you felt it?"

The teaser went for 88-seconds, with British John Boyega popping up and looking worried while garbed in stormtrooper armor on the desert landscape that is believed to be Tatooine, Luke Skywalker's home planet.
With the breathtaking teaser, fans believed that something queer is definitely in stored for them.
Slated for release on Dec. 18, 2015, New York Daily News praised the teaser for the magnificent special effects:
"There were few finished special effects shots to show off, but the trailer featured the requisite shot of the iconic Millennium Falcon evading-pursuing TIE fighters with the full glory of the John Williams score behind it."
But what really made the teaser more interesting is that part of the footage showing the shadow of the film's new villain, a Sith wearing a red cross-shaped lightsaber that comes with a deadly hilt.
Forbes' Scott Mendelson, however, wasn't really impressed with the teaser. He writes: "This is indeed a bare-bones teaser trailer, more of an "announcement" trailer that anything else...an acknowledgement that the movie is coming so you better get ready. All it does is announce itself with a few choice images and iconic music."
Meanwhile, The Guardian's Jordan Hoffman considers the trailer as a rare thing, calling the movie "a film whose plot we really don't know much about."
The trailer is slated to be shown in 30 movie theaters around the country.
The cast includes John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong'o under J.J. Abrams' direction.
Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford, two of the franchise's original cast, are set to reprise their respective roles.
