The LG G3 smartphone has impressed the market but it still has room for improvement such as its battery life, which is a downgrade from its predecessor LG G2.

The next LG flagship smartphone could be released in May 2015. The G3 was announced in May this year and released in June.

It could be the same next year except that LG can announce the LG G4 earlier at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in March 2015. While the LG G2 was released in September, LG may opt to announce its flagship smartphone earlier because of Google and Apple timelines.

The LG G4 could be pricey. Rumor has it LG has invest a lot into the LG G4 so people can expect an improved G3 successor.

The LG G4 is rumored to have a bezel-free display. It could be an edge-to-edge screen with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.

LG revealed a 5.3-inch panel with Full HD LCD with 0.7 mm bezel recently. The bezel is narrower than a credit card's thickness and its technology is called Neo Edge.

The LG G4 could a 5.7-inch display with UHD, 4K resolution but these are all still speculations. The LG G4 will likely have a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip which features Cat 6 LTE with 4 GB of RAM.

It could have a water-proof unibody and a camera with optical image stabilization and laser autofocus with higher resolution and 4K video capture.
