Soap opera star Corey Sligh didn't seem to have a Thanksgiving that's worth thanking for.
E! News reports that the Young and the Restless actor was actually with his girlfriend Alisa Berhorst, doing a random act of kindness Thanksgiving night, delivering a turkey meal to a friend who's been then at a night shift at Rite Aid in West Hollywood, Calif., when two strangers speeding in the parking lot allegedly beat him.

In an interview with CBS Los Angeles, Berhorst narrated that Sligh asked the two men to slow down on their driving because it's a congested area.
"They almost hit people in the parking lot," she said.
"They were hitting curbs and Corey said please slow down or we're going to call the cops."
However, two men did not heed Slight's instruction but instead caught a fight with the actor.
"The guy walked up to him like I'm in the mood to kill somebody and this is who it's going to be because he told me to be careful and slow down and go away," Berhorst detailed.
Sligh was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital, where it was found that he had sustained multiple injuries, including broken arm.
Los Angeles Police has already confirmed the arrest of the two men. One of them has already been charged with felony assault.
Sligh posted on his Instagram about the assault:
"Hey kids, went to feed some people last night who don't have blessed thanksgivings and along the way got struck by a drunk driver!"
"Have a surgery to go and another couple days in the hospital but should be fine soon! Thankful to still be on this great planet! Love y'all!"
Berhorst hopes for Sligh's speedy recovery.
"I'm thankful he's okay," she said.
"I'm thankful that we didn't get killed."
