Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao has renewed his contract with Top Rank Boxing for another two years and will most probably fight this November, according to ABC News.

Bob Arum, Top Rank's Founder and CEO and Pacquiao's promoter for nine years, said the new contract will be effective after the boxer's next fight.

In the works for Pacquiao's next fight is possibly with Juan Miguel Marquez, their first choice, Arum says. But he adds that they are also open to other fighters such as Amir Khan and those within Golden Boy Promotions.

He added though that for Golden Boy Promotions, it would depend on the outcome of the yet-to-be resolved dispute between Oscar de la Hoya and CEO Richard Schaefer since Schaefer earlier said he does not want to deal with Arum.

"If Oscar takes over the company like he's talking about, we're open to those guys also," Arum told the Associated Press.

With regards to the venue for Pacquiao's first fight under the new contract, Arum says that their first choice is in Macau. He doesn't close the door on other possible venues, however, saying that they'll have to wait and see what Las Vegas and the Mideast will offer.

With this contract renewal, it seems fans will not be seeing a Manny Pacquiao versus Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight.

As long as Pacquiao is with Bob Arum, Mayweather said he will not fight him.

Nevertheless, Arum said a fight between the two could happen in 2016 when Mayweather's contract with current promoter, Showtime, ends.

Pacquiao, 35 years old, currently holds the WBO Welterweight title and ranked fourth on The Ring Pound-for-Pound list.

He is the first and only boxer who has won 10 world titles and is the first to win the lineal championship across four weight divisions.

He was awarded "Fighter of the Decade" of the 2000s by the World Boxing Organization, World Boxing Council and Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA).

He was also awarded BWAA "Fighter of the Year" in 2006, 2008 and 2009, and given the 2009 and 2011 "Best Fighter ESPY Award".
