Christian Bale shared with WSJ. Magazine that he thinks George Clooney whines too much about the paparazzi, and that his constant complaints about his lack of privacy have become "boring".

Before tying the knot with human rights barrister Amal Alamuddin, Clooney slammed The Daily Mail for publishing supposedly fictitious features about Alamuddin's family. He consequently received an apology from the website, but this wasn't the first instance the star has been vocal about how the media tries to infiltrate his life, as well as the lives of other celebrities.

"It doesn't matter that he talks about it. It's like, 'Come on, guys, just shut up. Just get on with it and live your lives and stop whining about it. I prefer not to whine about it," Bale shared.

Bale likened the constant prodding to being poked as if you're an animal in the zoo. He stated that people are trying to incite a response from celebs, and if stars are smart, they simply wouldn't give the press what they want.

Bale admitted, however, "If you're dumb, occasionally, like me, you give it to them. And then they've basically got what they wanted. I usually regret it afterwards."

The "Batman" star shared that he does try not to allow photographers to agitate him.

He shared that while he was in Italy with his wife, Sibi Blazic, there was a man who stood outside their hotel just to say "the most obscene things imaginable" to his wife. Bale said that it was an obvious ploy to get him to react, and that he was conflicted about whether or not to get mad.

He shared that what the man was purposely trying to get him mad, but then he also felt the need to say something because he wanted to defend his wife, and himself as a husband.

"So, you've got a choice," Bale stated.
