It seems like Rosie O'Donnell's second run on "The View" just isn't as smooth sailing as everyone hoped it would be. Insiders are speculating that things have gotten so bad, the host-comedian might not even last the current season.
Sources involved with the show refer to O'Donnell a "malcontent" with a negative attitude. Aside from not attempting to develop on-air repo ire with her co-hosts, O'Donnell is said to have also made an effort not to speak to the cast or crew when the cameras aren't rolling.

The star is said to be extremely disappointed and depressed about her role in the show, since she had hoped that she would be the moderator on the panel. Instead, Whoopi Goldberg, the only remaining member from last season, has stayed on as the leader of the ABC talk show.
Aside from O'Donnells alleged disappointment regarding her role, she has also openly criticized how management has marketed the current season.
Despite producers constantly trying to appease O'Donnell, and finding ways for her to change, sources stated that management believes that her attitude has contributed greatly to the show's ratings downturn.
Because producers are said to no longer have confidence in the star, sources stated that they believe O'Donnell will likely make an exit before the current season ends. According to them, O'Donnell staying on for another season "is out of the question".
The hosts' rep, however, denied that she is upset, and that there is anything wrong between O'Donnell and the other panelists.
"This is absolutely false! Whoopi Goldberg has been the moderator since Whoopi was hired and Rosie knew that before she took the job," O'Donnell's rep shared with gossip site TMZ.
Aside from Goldberg and O'Donnell, the new panel also includes Republican political commentator Nicole Wallace, and Latin actress and human rights activist Rosie Perez.
